What if a spool arrives damaged or out of spec?

Email hello@layercrew.com within 7 days of delivery with photos and we'll replace or refund. Filament is QC-pulled and weighed before dispatch, so this is rare — but when it happens, we own it.

How quickly do you ship filament orders?

Stock filaments leave our Bucharest warehouse within 24 hours of order confirmation. Tracked EU shipping typically lands in 2–5 business days; courier choice is shown at checkout.

What's the difference between refill and spool?

A refill is the filament wound on a lightweight cardboard core — meant for refillable spool systems (Bambu AMS, Polymaker PolySpool, etc.). A full spool is the filament pre-mounted on a plastic spool, ready for any printer. Per-kg pricing is the same; refills cut waste and ship lighter.

Are diameter tolerances published?

Yes. Every roll ships with the supplier's per-batch QC sheet — typically ±0.02–0.05 mm depending on brand. The technical documents on this page link to the published TDS and SDS so you can spec against the same numbers we do.

AzureFilm PETG (polyethylene terephthalate glycol) combines the best of two worlds: the strength and temperature resistance of ABS with the easy, forgiving printing of PLA. It prints without a heated chamber, doesn't warp or curl easily, and leaves a smooth, glossy finish — making it a great all-round choice for everything from functional mechanical parts to decorative pieces.

Storage & Handling

PETG is hygroscopic and absorbs moisture from the air, even while sealed. For the best results, dry the filament at 60–65°C for around 8 hours before printing, and store it in a dry, sealed container with desiccant. Because of the glossy finish, any surface scratches show easily — handle spools with care.
