Question 1

How quickly do you ship filament orders?

Accepted Answer

Stock filaments leave our Bucharest warehouse within 24 hours of order confirmation. Tracked EU shipping typically lands in 2–5 business days; courier choice is shown at checkout.

Question 2

What’s the difference between refill and spool?

Accepted Answer

A refill is the filament wound on a lightweight cardboard core — meant for refillable spool systems (Bambu AMS, Polymaker PolySpool, etc.). A full spool is the filament pre-mounted on a plastic spool, ready for any printer. Per-kg pricing is the same; refills cut waste and ship lighter.

Question 3

Are diameter tolerances published?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every roll ships with the supplier’s per-batch QC sheet — typically ±0.02–0.05 mm depending on brand. The technical documents on this page link to the published TDS and SDS so you can spec against the same numbers we do.

Question 4

Do you offer bulk pricing on filament?

Accepted Answer

When a brand-material-type combination ships at volume we apply tier discounts automatically — adjust the quantity above and the unit price updates in real time. If you need 50+ spools or a recurring restock schedule, click "Request a quote" for a custom price.

Question 5

Can I get a colour or brand you don’t stock?

Accepted Answer

Tell us what you need via the customize form on this page. We source from over 20 European distributors and can usually quote a colour or specialty composite within a working day.

Question 6

What if a spool arrives damaged or out of spec?

Accepted Answer

Email hello@layercrew.com within 7 days of delivery with photos and we’ll replace or refund. Filament is QC-pulled and weighed before dispatch, so this is rare — but when it happens, we own it.
